    Description

    Rare, First Edition, Signed by author, Elizabeth Willis DeHuff.  Published, 1922, by Harcourt, Brace and Company, New York, New York.  Condition is Good. No Jacket. Illustrated by Fred Kabotie, Fred & Otis Polelonema.
    Hardcover edges and corners have some bumping, and light edge wear. Cover has some marks on it. Black mark along spine. Cloth fraying at the head and tail of the spine. Hinges and gutters are pretty solid.  Light yellowing on the end papers. Bookseller stamp lower corner of front paste-down, from a store in Santa Fe. Faint appearance of pencil marks/writing on the front paste-down.  8 full color plates and numerous small black and white illustrations throughout. First color plate (frontispiece) is detached about 1.5" at the bottom.  Besides author's signature, no other writing or dog ears. There are a number of pages with a slight 1” - 2” tear near bottom. Overall nice book. See photos and ask questions.
