Made with comfort in mind, the Hoyer Four Point Comfort Amputee Clip Style Sling is structured for accommodating amputee patients, specifically for lifts and transfers. However, other patients may be qualified to utilize it upon a special assessment performed by a qualified person. Other uses for this type of sling include holding patients during an extended period of time, such as cleaning the bed or taking a bath.
Constructed of polyester, each amputee sling is designed for patient comfort and security during lifting and transferring. In the User Manual above, the manufacturer has included instructions on how to fit an amputee comfort sling to a four-point cradle properly. Additionally, it covers how to appropriately maneuver the patient onto the sling in a recumbent position.
