    New 6 " & 12" Tool Rests Specifically for Powermatic #45 & #90 Wood Lathes
    We have made about 100 sets of these tool rests w/ nothing but praise from their new owners. The horizontal rail is flattened to help move it closer to the work and it is made for chrome-moly steel bar for wear resistance. These are specifically for Powermatic lathes that have a 1-1/8" toolpost socket. We made a few 1" diameter post units and they are listed on another auction.  You're correct, this is not a Powermatic tool rest base but the tool rest looks the same.
