For bid is an original September 1916 Territory of Hawaii BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA Photo showing some of the boys of Troop 4 with William H. “Pop” Hutton and scoutmaster Gray holding the “Duncan Cup” trophy after competitions held at Kailua, Oahu. The names of several of the scouts are written near the bottom of the photograph. The edges of this photo are severely chipped on the left and right edges... One boy is holding the flag of Troop 4 at left.
This photograph was the original property of “Pop” Hutton. His name and the address of the Honolulu Police Station is written in pencil on the back.
This is a really terrific, early photograph of Hawaiian Boy Scouts in uniform!! The silver cup trophy is clearly visible at the front held by two men...
