Racing Timing Belt for 95-99 Mitsubishi Chrysler Eagle Talon Sebring 2.0L DOHC. Located in the engine compartment behind the drive belts, the timing belt keeps the crankshaft in sync with the camshaft(s), essentially ensuring the proper timing and operation of the engine and its valves. When replacing a timing belt, also replace tensioner, and pulleys. Failure of pulleys and tensioners, after replacing only the belt, can cause valve or piston damage and lead to more expensive repairs. Additionally, timing belt driven water pumps should also be replaced at the same time as the timing belt. Operated by the drive belt, the water pump's core function is to allow coolant to flow into the engine continually. Together, these three components: timing belt, tensioners and pulleys, and the water pump are essential to the overall health of your engine. Performance Part offers a limited 90 day warranty to all our products. We firmly believe our parts are free from any defects in workmanship, material and that all manufacturing is processed under a strict quality control environment.
The 90 day period is applied from the original date of purchase and is non-transferable. The limited warranty does not cover labor, any damages from accidents or installations, alterations, misuse or modifications not intended by the manufacturer. Warranty and exchanges may be limited to defective and or damaged items during transit to you.
All warranty claims must be authorized and returned prepaid to Performance Part for inspection and approval along with a filled out warranty form. This warranty does not cover or assume responsibility for any expenses, such as labor, towing, loading fluids, oils or car rentals.
Absolutely no exchanges will be made for any products that has been damaged, misused or improperly installed. We highly recommend that a licensed professional bear the responsibility of proper installation. The buyer also assumes risk of possible damage caused by improper installation.
