    Drill-Hole Correlation as an Aid in Exploration of Magnetite Deposits of the Jersey Highlands, New York and New Jersey
    . Published in 1947, there can't be many of these around. This publication consists of the 17-page book and all three of the original fold out diagrams and tables. This is an interesting report on great historic mining area. Among the locations discussed in detail are:
    Red Rock magnetite property
    Croton magnetite mine
    Turkey Hill mine
    Swayze mine
    Discussions of these mines provide a rare glimpse of their geology that is usually not available from other historical sources. This is one of only a few publications done by the USGS on the iron deposits of this region and as such it has an important place in the literature on this historic mining area. The condition is exceptional given its age.
