    This is and interesting, unusual item. The is Deep Well and Structural Geologic Map of West Virginia. This two sheet set covers the entire state and each sheet is more than four feet wide. These maps are designed to show information relevant to productive gas or oil formations in the state. The depth of some of the key formations are indicated by contour lines, and the thickness of them also. Some areas that are colored indicate production from various formations, which in some cases overlie each other. There is a ton to see here and the maps are huge - you could spread them out and spend an hour looking at them to understand all the detail.
    A scarce set I have never had before. Great item for a resident looking to understand their area better, or someone interested in production from wells in the area, maybe to research potential drilling areas.
